Digger
Boxes

Each year, the Rotary Club of Fassifern Valley pack 60 Digger Boxes to be sent to our military personnel, serving overseas at Christmas.

Boxes are sent on behalf of other clubs, private sponsors and our dinner meeting guest speakers.

Each box contains reading material, toiletries, scarf and beanie, stationery and Australian made food items, such as Tim Tams, confectionery and canned fish.

The support given by Federal Member for Parliament, Scott Buchholz, with his delivery of stationery items each year is very much appreciated.

Drought
Assistance

In 2019, our club was pleased to be able to assist our country cousins from the areas of Longreach and Charleville, who have experienced severe drought for a number of years.
Proceeds of our annual Car Display Day, and the kind donations of the participants at the event, made it possible to donate to both the Rotary District 9630 Drought Appeal and Rotary Club of Longreach. The support that both of these organisations  provide assistance to drought affected farmers that also benefit the surrounding communities.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who attended or supported our Car Display Day.
